At LaCascio’s, whenever possible, we use only authentic Italian products and ingredients, true to the region, and DOP certified. In Italian this means, “Denominazione di Origine Protetta”. In English, it literally translates to “Protected Designation of Origin”. As it states, all these products have a certification that ensures they are locally grown and packaged from a specific geographical zone and according to Italian tradition. Each step, from production to packaging, is regulated.
